The Marquisate of Westkeep is an Autonomous Vassal of the
Kingdom of Aquileia - one of several parts of the country parcelled out by King Moriset Discret to his family. Westkeep is effectively a Marcher-Lordship a title usually given to a Frontier Lord, expected to work more independently from the Crown to fortify and maintain outlying regions.
Westkeep is run by Colonel Colette Solide.
The fate of Aquileia's client states depends on the actions of Aquileia. If they take the focus "Fight For Your Freedom!", eventually, rebels will oust the King and declare war on all of the client states that have not flipped with them.
If they take the focus "Second Reign of Terror", the King will usually secure 2 of his 4 client states. The other states, overrun by revolutionaries, will flip to the Revolutionaries, declaring war upon Aquileia itself and the other loyalist client states
