Lore

Starting Situation

The United Dragon Lands is located in the eastern Fire Sea (South East of Equestria) and has an enclave land (Badlands) in South Equestria. Its primary island has mountainous terrain, but Badlands is covered with desert.

Threats and Opportunities

Despite how isolated the Dragon Tribe is, there are still threats to the nation, and little opportunities. They have a measly population and start with only 9 ponypower. Their military suffers from the same issues, being barely equipped and using outdated guns. Second, the navy is non-existent and has few convoys, making the Dragon Tribe basically cut off from the world. Finally, their primary threat in the early game is Flag of Equestria Equestria – Equestria's claims over Badlands, to be exact. Later on, Flag of Haukland Haukland will attempt to invade the Dragon Tribe as they progress down their focus tree.

In regards to opportunity, after meeting Equestria's demand, most other countries won't bother with Dragon Tribe (even with Equestria). It barely has any resources, and its mountains will make an invasion of the island costly and meaningless. However, certain nations, such as the Flag of Manehattan Protectorate Manehattan Protectorate, Flag of Solar Empire Solar Empire, Flag of Lunar Empire Lunar Empire and the Flag of Confederation of Southern States Confederation of Southern States can still go to war to the Dragons, wars which will not usually go well for them.

The generic focus tree for countries on Equus has 5 main branches:

  • Army Effort gives army experience and research bonuses to army research.
  • Aviation Effort gives air experience, builds air bases, and research bonuses to air research.
  • Naval Effort gives navy experience, builds naval dockyards, and research bonuses to navy research.
  • Industrial Effort builds civilian and military factories (usually even if building slots are already full), infrastructure and grants extra research slots.
  • Political Effort gives the country choices on which political path they will take.
