When the Storm King invaded us with his army, we managed to avoid his wrath with either humble tribute, clever diplomacy, cunning trickery or by other means. Although we lost much of our treasury and many of our prized artifacts, the Storm King was content with leaving us alone for the most part. Some of our citizens grumble that we should've fought back more fiercely against the yeti warlord, but at least our country remains mostly intact.
The diamond road is an ancient trade route connecting southern Zebrica with Zonicia. Besides the eponymous diamonds, other trade goods include gold, spices, textiles, and slaves. As the industrialisation progresses, manufactured goods also make up a larger and larger share of the trade. Our country profits from this trade route running through it, giving our government a healthy stipend and bringing new ideas into our nation.
