The Duchy of Rila is an Autonomous Vassal of the Flag of Kingdom of Aquileia Kingdom of Aquileia - one of several parts of the country parceled out by King Moriset Discret to his family. Rila is the most powerful of the client states.

Rila is currently led by Duke Michel Discret, the King's brother. Michel is young and has sympathies for the revolutionaries, unlike his late father and brother.
